Wednesday: The Lonoke Chamber of Commerce will meet at noon in the depot. Lunch will be provided for $10.


Saturday: Word Of Truth praise fest will be held at the Lonoke City Park from 4-8 p.m. There will be many musical acts going on and different vendors set up.


Monday: Crazy 8’s Math Club at 4 p.m. at Carlisle Public Library


Aug. 9: STARS, Small Town Amateur Radio Service, ham radio group will be having their monthly meeting will be at 1:30 p.m. at the American Legion Post 71, 114 N 1st Street, Cabot. The meetings are on the second Sunday every month. Any questions call 501-203-5715.

Oct. 7: Annabelle’s Anthem benifit dinner and silent action will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the St. Rose Parish Hall in Carlisle. Annabelle is the daughter of Trey and Lindy Hearn, who was recently diagnosed with ALL, a form of leukemia. Lindy is a sixth grade teacher at Carlisle Public Schools and Trey is a manager at Keo Fish Farm. Annabelle began treatment July 21, and will continue receiving treatment for the next two years. The public is invited to support the family in an evening of dinner, dancing and fun. Dinner will be catered by Harlan Caviness and Chuck Brown.
