Friends, neighbors and Austin city officials marked the opening of another business in the city with a ribbon-cutting Saturday at Deja Vu, 3057 Arkansas Highway 367 north, two blocks south of city hall, owner Sonya McLain wielded the scissors. Deja Vu is a consignment/resale store specializing in clothing and accessories. McLain said she has always wanted to own a business and, with her knack for talking with people, the economics fell in place for a consignment store. Deja Vu is open 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Tuesday - Friday; and 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturdays. Mayor Bernie Chamberlain said new businesses are welcome, especially those owned by city residents. "We are growing, and business comes with that," she said.
