Darral and Vickie Paradis, of Carlisle, announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Anna, to Matthew Wagner, son of Nathan and Teresa Wagner, also of Carlisle.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Paul and Dianne Hart of Carlisle and Pheba Paradis of North Little Rock and the late Robert Paradis.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Leland Stoltz of Mt. Carmel, Ill., and the late Betty Stolz and Raymond Wagner of Greenup, Ill., and the late Esther Wagner.

The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Carlisle. Officiating will be Bros. David Lee and Albert Young.

The bride will be given in marriage by her parents and will wear a fitted ivory lace gown featuring a neckline of contoured straps, a keyhole back and an empire waist accented by a crystal sash. Her veil is also ivory and lace-lined. She and her attendants will carry fresh red and ivory roses and plum calla lilies.

Attending the bride in short black lace dresses, will be maids of honor, Lana McCallie and Caroline Moery; bridesmaids, Scarlett Lewis and Laura Null, all of Carlisle, Hailey Hal of El Dorado, Jennifer Greenhaw of Springdale, and Haley Kennedy of Jonesboro.

Wearing ivory satin A-line gowns with taupe sashes, the flower girls will be Eva Godwin of Beebe; Vanessa Hart of Seattle, Wash.; and JoAnna Moody of Carlisle.

The groom will be attended by best men, Steven Wagner of Fort Smith and Tyler Paradis of Austin, Texas; groomsmen, Cody Bryan also of Austin, Grant Dasher of Memphis, Tenn., Chad Geisler of Carlisle, and Christopher Clark of Little Rock.

The wedding party will be completed by guest book attendants, Tori Bell of Des Arc, Bailey Amaden of Carlisle and ushers, Colby Flynn, Austin Reed, Braden Reed, and Jack Laws, all of Carlisle.

Music will be provided by Elise Hobson, Mary Ingle, and Derek Ingle.

The reception will follow at the Carlisle Civic Center banquet hall.

The couple met in a church group. The bride-elect graduated from Carlisle High School in 2012 and is currently an undergraduate at Arkansas State University at Jonesboro. The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of Carlisle High School, a 2011 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and is currently at third-year medical student and UAMS.

The couple will return from their wedding trip to the Florida Keys to make their home in Little Rock.
