On Thursday, Dec. 13, a beautiful, but cold day, the Woodlawn Community Center opened their door at 10:30 a.m.

Those attending were Mary Thate, Birtha Larkin, Ruby Kittell, Roy Kittell, Dorothy Williams, George Wilson, Shirley Jackson, Dorothy Henry, Anita Weathers and Jackie Maxwell.

Larry Monroe and David Skinner stopped by.

George Wilson opened with prayer. He then invited everyone to join him in saying the Pledge of Allegiance and singing "God Bless America."

A fun day of "Gift Bag Bingo" was played and enjoyed by everyone. There were many pleasant surprises.

On Thursday, Dec. 20, our friends and talented guest, Fred Staley and Lisa Thomas will enlighten everyone with their music and songs.

Every Thursday, the Woodlawn Community Center always provides educational, social and recreational events at 10070 Arkansas Highway 31 North. Come early for a cup of Coffee and bring a dish for pot luck.
