Cabot’s Annual Christmas Parade is Sunday, Dec. 9, starting at 3 p.m.
The theme for this year’s parade is "It’s A Dr. Seuss Christmas!". Participants are asked to select an idea or image that best represents their favorite memory or interpretation of this Christmas theme and use it to design their entry/float. This year’s parade is shaping up to be one of the best ever; including several marching bands, clowns, veterans groups and of course, Santa Claus, according to a parade spokesman.
The parade will travel South Pine Street, beginning at Panther Trail and continuing northward past the Knight’s Shopping Center and will then make a left turn onto Pond Street and end at Central Elementary School, which is the same route used for the Cabot Homecoming Parade. The "Awards Presentation" Ceremony will take place immediately following the parade, at the Plantation Realty Parking Lot, which is where the Main Judges’ Stage will also be located.
