Lonoke County and much of northeastern and Central Arkansas are under a tornado watch until 9 p.m. today, according to the National Weather Service.

The NWS has identified a wide swath that includes all of Central Arkansas where there is the potential for severe weather today, including the possibility of large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes.

On Monday, winter weather is possible, mostly in central and northern Arkansas — including parts of northern Lonoke County.
