According to the Arkansas State Police fatal crash summary filed Friday, James W. Freeman, 35, of England; Elizabeth A. Noe, 35; and Hannah A. Freeman, 35, all of England, died shortly before noon in a single vehicle accident, south of Scott in Lonoke County.

Trinity Craid, 6, also of England, was injured, and transported to Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

According to the summary, James Freeman was driving a 1997 GMC Jimmy, northbound on Arkansas Highway 161; Noe, Hannah Freeman and Craid were passengers.

The accident occurred about three miles south of Scott.

The summary notes that Freeman’s vehicle traveled off the east side of the roadway, over-corrected and traveled across to the west side of the roadway, spinning counter-clockwise, where it struck a tree.

The weather was described as clear, the road dry.
