Cabot mayor Bill Cypert, left, with Chief of Police Jackie Davis, at the April 21 city council meeting, present Carol Davidson with a plaque recognizing that her quick actions likely saved a man’s life. On March 25, Davidson happened upon a situation in which a man had collapsed. Finding that the man was not breathing and had no pulse, Davidson began CPR, continuing her efforts until medical assistance arrived. "… It is very possible that the unconscious man would be alive today if it were not for the heroic acts of Carol Davidson," the mayor’s proclamation declared. (Submitted photo)
