James Hart

James R. “Bob” Hart, born June 3, 1934, to Jess and Ethel Hart, passed away October 30, 2012. He was a member of Bayou Meto Missionary Baptist Church, and was a retired farmer and a US Postal Service Clerk.

Survivors are his wife, Naomi; two sons, Jarrod Hart of Lonoke and Price Pruitt of Maumelle; one daughter Patience Holt of Maumelle; six grandchildren, Austin Hart, Lindsey Hart, Laurel Pruitt, Garner Pruitt, Abbey Holt and Will Holt; two step-grandchildren, Hannah and Hayden Young; one special grandson, David Argo; and two great-granddaughters, Baleigh and Caleigh Argo; three brothers, Joe Hart of McCrory, Johnny Hart of Carlisle and Pinky Hart of Greenland; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Doyne Hart; and two sisters, Elsie Davidson and Lois Williams.

Bob was a devoted husband, dad and grandpaw. He will be remembered for his wit and humor by his family and friends. He was a walking address and zip code directory, a big joke teller, never the same one twice, and would tell you one whether he knew you or not.

Visitation, 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 2, at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3, at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Burial will follow in Lonoke Cemetery.
