Janice Kay Tabor-Hinman, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away from a stroke on October 29, 2012.

She was born March 18, 1957 in Lebanon, Missouri. Her education in police corrections qualified Janice as Cabot Police Dispatcher & Tonkawa City Court Clerk and Dispatch Supervisor.

As a member of the Ponca Indian Methodist Church, Janice loved the Ponca Culture, its music and traditional pow wows. Always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, but nothing brought her greater joy then time she spent with family.

Janice is survived by mother Juanita Hinman of Ponca City and children Jimmy, Jerry, Ricky, Julie. Also survived by siblings Diana, Shirley, Rebecca, Floyd and Phillip, six grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, one on the way and her companion Roy Hinman.

Services were held November 3 at the Ponca Indian Methodist Church.
