Nana Ladd Weeks, 90, of Cabot, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012. She was born Jan. 19, 1922, in Logan County, Arkansas, to Augusta Tom Ladd Sr. and Lola Mae Vaughn Ladd.

She was a member of First Baptist Church for 67 years where she was a Sunday school teacher and youth worker for many years.

She was preceded in death by husband Aubrey Weeks; parents, Augusta Tom Ladd Sr. and Lola Mae Vaughn Ladd; brothers, Tommy Ladd Jr. and Dale Ladd; and sister, Rena Williams.

Survivors include daughter, Marilyn Spence and husband James Lon of Cabot; son, James Weeks and fiancée Mary of Cabot; sister, Emogene Hopkins of Magazine; grandchildren, Lana Ballard and husband Mike, Yvonne Hickman and husband Dewayne, Cherie Dulany and husband Jeff, Amanda Duncan and husband Dale, Natasha Thompson and husband Mark; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral was held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at First Baptist Church in Cabot. Burial was in Mt Pleasant Cemetery.
