(Ret) Chief Master Sergeant Silas Benjamin LeGrow, 90, of Cabot, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013. He was born Aug. 12, 1922, in Bauline, Newfoundland, to Benjamin LeGrow and Mary LeGrow. He was a World War II Veteran and Bataan Death March and POW survivor in the Pacific Theatre.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Wayne LeGrow; and parents.
Survivors include his wife, Edna LeGrow of Cabot; sons, Kenny LeGrow and Howard LeGrow of Cabot, David LeGrow and wife Cathy Of West Plains, Mo., and Robert LeGrow and wife Kay of Hernando, Miss.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Anita Gaulton of Stephenville, Newfoundland, and a host of family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel in North Little Rock. Burial was in Arkansas State Veterans’ Cemetery.
