The Cabot Centennial Bank Junior American Legion baseball Team One split a doubleheader with Clarksville on Saturday.
Clarksville won the first game 11-6, but Cabot won the nightcap 6-5.
In Cabotís win, it trailed 5-1 after two innings.
Cabot then scored five runs in the fifth to lead 6-5. John Van Hoveln led off with a single and scored on a single by Riley Knudsen. Adam Hicks followed with a walk. Two batters later, Coleman McAtee walked to load the bases. Knudsen scored when Glover Helpenstill was hit by a pitch.
Hicks then scored on a passed ball. McAtee and Helpenstill scored on a double by Gavin Tillery.
Cabotís first run came in the first. Knudsen doubled and scored on a single by Tristan Bulice.
Hicks got the win, pitching 6 1/3 innings. He gave up 10 hits and five runs ó only two earned. He struck out five in the win.
In Cabotís loss, Clarksville scored six runs in the second and five in the sixth.
Cabot scored three times in the third. Knudsen singled and scored when McAtee reached on an error. Bulice singled and scored on a single by Jonathan Latture. McAtee scored on an error.
Cabot scored three runs in the fifth. Bulice was hit by a pitch and McAtee doubled. They both scored on a double by Helpenstill, who also later scored.
Jacksonville 10, Cabot 6
Jacksonville scored six runs in the bottom of the third en route to a 10-6 win over Cabot on Thursday.
Cabot led 6-0 after the top of the second. Brandon Jones hit a three-run homer in the first inning. Scoring on the play were Coleman McAtee and Jonathan Latture. Also scoring in the first was Adam Hicks and Tristan Bulice.
Cabotís sixth run came in the top of the second. Riley Knudsen walked and scored on a single by Glover Helpenstill.
Sylvan Hills 5, Cabot 4
The Sylvan Hills Bruins rallied from a 4-1 deficit to beat Cabot 5-4 last week.
The Bruins scored three runs in the sixth and one in the seventh.
Cabot got on the board with a single run in the first. Riley Knudsen hit a solo homer to center field.
Cabot then scored twice in the second. Austin Null and Lee Sullivan both walked and scored on a double by Knudsen.
Cabotís fourth run came in the third. Tristan Bulice doubled and scored on a ground out by Coleman McAtee.
Cabot 7, Lakeside 4
Cabot rallied form a 4-2 deficit to beat Hot Springs Lakeside 7-4 last week.
Cabot scored five runs in the top of the sixth. Scoring were Glover Helpenstill, Adam Hicks, Austin Null, Dalten Hurst and Eric Pique. Null had a two-run double in the inning.
Cabotís first two runs came in the first. Jonathan Latture reached on an error and scored on a triple by Helpenstill. Hicks followed with a double to drive in Helpenstill.
