Cabot Centennial Bank got two big wins in Senior American Legion action last week.

Cabot beat White Hall 21-13 on June 12 and Sheridan 7-5 on Thursday. Both wins came in the Sheridan Wood Bat Tournament.

In the win over White Hall, Cabot scored three in the first, two in the second, three in the third, three in the fourth, once in the fifth, five in the sixth and four in the seventh.

White Hall scored twice in the first, six times in the third, four times in the fifth and once in the seventh.

Conner Vocque and Grayson Cole led Cabot with four runs scored. Bryson Morris and Hayden Vinson had three runs each. Scoring twice were Coleman McAtee, Adam Hicks and Chris Odom. Kyle Kaufman also scored a run.

Hicks and Morris led Cabot with four hits each. Odom had three. Vocque, McAtee and Cole had two hits each. Also getting hits were Casey Vaughan and Kaufman.

In Thursday’s win over Sheridan, Cabot led 7-0 after two innings.

In the first inning, Vocque led off with a walk and scored on a ground out by Bryson Morris.

Cabot then scored six runs in the second. Cole was hit by a pitch and scored on a ground out by Hayden Vinson.

Odom singled and Vocque was hit by a pitch and scored on a single by Morris. Vaughan followed with a triple to drive in Morris. Vaughan also scored.

McAtee singled and scored on a double by Ryan Logan.

Sheridan scored three times in the fifth and twice in the sixth.

Cabot had six hits in the win. Odom was 2 for 3. Also getting hits were Morris, Vaughan, McAtee and Logan.
