Cabot’s Micah Huckabee won the girls 7A-Central cross-country championship last week at Rolling Hills Country Club in Cabot.

Huckabee, a junior, won the race with a time of 18 minutes, 55.03 seconds. Her time, along with her teammates, helped the Lady Panthers finish second with 66 points. Mount St. Mary won the conference title with 22 points.

Conway was third at 85, followed by Fort Smith Southside, 107; North Little Rock, 108; Little Rock Central 160.

Cabot’s Samantha Nickell finished ninth with a time of 20:54.22. Rachel Murtishaw was 18th at 21:54.82. Ashley Gore was 19th at 22:07.67. Brayden Giesler was 27th at 23:11.25. Kaitlin Mayhair was 28th at 23:18.86. Ashley Odom was 32nd at 23:33.53.

In the boys meet, Little Rock Catholic won the conference title with 17 points. Cabot was second at 74 points, followed by Conway, 82; Fort Smith Northside, 88; North Little Rock, 129; Southside, 137; Little Rock Central, 205.

Nick Davis was Cabot’s best performer, finishing 11th at 17:52.61. Parker Dey was 13th at 18:02.59. Kris White was 15th at 18:04.64.

Caleb Schulte was was 17th at 18:17.13. Adam Stivers was 18th at 18:19.51. Chris Owen was 21st at 18:35.07. Logan Boyer was 32nd at 19:02.87.

The Class 7A state meet is Saturday at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs.
