The Cabot Panthers certified athletic training staff is holding its second parents sports medicine meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday in the Cabot High School cafeteria.
Head trainer Jason Cates said the topic of the meeting is exertion heat illness and sports concussions.
"We will educate Cabot Panthers parents on our sports medicine policies and procedures dealing with these topics, as well as developing a team approach for athletic health care from the home, to the training room and onto the field and court," Cates said.
The meeting is intended for parents of any Cabot school athletes, cheerleaders, dance team members or the Air Force Junior ROTC.
