Monday: Patrons are invited to visit the Carlisle Public Library from 4-6 p.m. to make duct tape wallets.

Tuesday: The Lonoke High School junior class is hosting a prom fundraiser, spaghetti supper from 5:30 - 8 p.m. in the Lonoke High School Cafeteria, located in the new Gina Cox Center. There will also be a live and silent auction. Cost is $5 per person. Tickets may be purchased through any member of the junior class or at the door.

Wednesday: The Lonoke Public Library will have a Halloween-themed story time at 10 a.m. Children two and up are invited to come enjoy in games, crafts, stories and songs.

Wednesday: The Carlisle Public Library will host a Halloween-themed toddler time at 10 a.m.

Oct. 31: Stop by the Carlisle Public Library from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. to "trick or treat" through haunted stacks.

Oct. 31: New Testament Missionary Baptist Church will host their annual Fall Festival from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the church parking lot and fellowship center. Parents, bring your children ages two through 12 for a fun filled evening in a Christian environment. There will be treats, games, crafts and activities. The church is located at 1601 Lincoln St., Lonoke.

Nov. 3: The Carlisle Futuristic League will host its annual Soup for Scholarships luncheon from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Carlisle First United Methodist Church. Tickets are $5 and are available from club members or at the door. Homemade soups and desserts will be served.

Nov. 11: The city of Lonoke municipal office will be closed in observance of Veterans day.

Nov. 11: The Carlisle School Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the board room at the superintendents office.

Nov. 12: The Lonoke City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the court room.

Nov. 18: The Lonoke School Board will meet at 6 p.m. in the administration building.

Nov. 19: The Carlisle City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the Civic Center.
