Today-Friday: Landmark Missionary Baptist Church at 517 E. Third St. in Carlisle will hold Vacation Bible School from 6-8:30 p.m. for children age 2 through sixth grade. Aug. 18: The Mothers for Education annual "Back to School Bash" will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Carlisle City Park. This is a free event for families in the Carlisle community and surrounding areas.
