The annual Miss Carlisle Pageant, sponsored by the Carlisle Heritage League, will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 5 p.m. in the Carlisle Elementary School cafeteria.
Categories for the pageant are: girls, birth to 12th grade.
Categories for the photogenic contest are: Boys, birth to kindergarten and girls; birth t0 12th grade.
Contestants do not have to enter pageant to enter the photogenic contest.
Entry fees for the pageant are $25 for those entered in the birth to ninth grade categories. Those entering in the 10th through 12th-grade categories, cost is $35.
Photogenic entries are $10 each for all ages. There will also be a "salute block" again this year in the program. They cost $5.
There will be a photographer present to take pictures, for those who would like to purchase them. Photos must be purchased in advance.
Parents/grandparents may take pictures of their child on stage for personal use only. No one has permission to take pictures to sell, except our photographer backstage.
The Heritage League will have a concession stand of items such as hot dogs, nachos, candy, chips and soft drinks.
Entry form pick-up locations are: Carlisle elementary and high school offices, Nicks BBQ, Fever’s, the Lonoke County Co-op (see Barbara) or any Heritage League club member.
Entry deadline is Wednesday, March 27, at 4 p.m.
Contestants must live in the Carlisle School district or attend Carlisle schools to enter. A complete list of rules are attached to the entry forms.
Rehearsal times are also noted on the rules sheet.
All monies raised are put back into the schools and community.
