The Lonoke Lady Jackrabbits split their last two conference games in softball.

Lonoke lost to Southside Batesville 10-7 last week then destroyed Pine Bluff Dollarway 22-0 on Monday.

In the loss at Southside, Lonoke tied the score at 1-1 in the top of the second. Haylee Whitehurst tripled and scored on a single by Jarrelyn McCall.

Southside then scored twice in the third, five times in the fourth and twice in the fifth to lead 10-1.

The Lady Jackrabbits plated six runs in the top of the sixth. Scoring were Kelsey Holder (courtesy running for Hannah Murray), Katelyn James, Jessy Lewis, McCall, Candace James and Charley Jo Chesney.

Lonoke had a chance to get closer in the top of the seventh. With one out, Lewis was hit by a pitch but stranded at first base to end the game.

In the win over Dollarway, Lonoke coach Laura Park was able to play her entire roster.

Lonoke scored 19 runs in the first inning and three in the second.

The game lasted only two innings.
