Today: The Woman Can Run Clinic has begun in Lonoke. This clinic is free to the participants. However, people do need to register at www.womenrunarkansas.net. The clinic in Lonoke will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 pm. There are walkers, beginning runners, advanced and intermediate groups.

Today: The Carlisle City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the Civic Center for a special meeting to discuss the reissuing of a city bond and to approve a pay request on the police and court building construction.

June 10: The Carlisle Chamber of Commerce will meet at noon in the board room at the Civic Center.

June 10: The Lonoke City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the court room at City Hall.

June 10: The Carlisle School Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the board room at the Superintendents Office.

June 18: The Carlisle City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the board room at the Civic Center.

June 24: The Lonoke School Board will meet at 6 p.m. in the administration building.

Aug. 10: The grand opening of the Gina Cox Center at Lonoke High School will be held at 3 p.m. Doors will open at 2:30 p.m.
