Friday, May 17, 2013, at 8 p.m. the Lonoke Public School District will host the graduation of the Graduating Class of 2013. This year’s class will be the largest class to graduate from the school system with approximately 135 graduates. The graduation will be held at the James B. Abraham Stadium.

If rain, the graduation will be postponed for Saturday, at 2 p.m. on the field. If it rains Saturday, graduation will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. on the field. If it rains on Sunday, graduation will be held in the high school gymnasium with each graduating senior being allowed only six guests inside due to safety and seating capacity requirements. We are all hoping for nice weather for our upcoming graduates. The Lonoke School Board, administration, faculty and staff members wish all of our seniors the best of luck in their future endeavors and congratulations on a job well done!

The last day of school will be May 28 for students. This is a make-up school day due to inclement weather earlier in the school year. The students will attend school until noon to make up the required half-school day missed. The school system will be open during the summer months on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
