Matthew Fleming is the new youth pastor at New Testament Baptist Church in Lonoke.

Fleming and his wife Susan have a son, Samuel.

Fleming comes to Lonoke from Sheridan. He is a graduate of Sheridan High School and went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude earning a business degree from Central Baptist College in Conway. He has worked in various church positions but has a passion for youth and music.

His wife is an English teacher at Sheridan High School and she too has a passion for youth and enjoys the ministry work with Matthew.

New Testament’s youth program "The Catch FM117", based on Mark 1:17, got kicked off with a back to school bash Aug. 21. The youth meet every Wednesday night from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and there are classes Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. and Sunday evening at 5 p.m. All youth are invited to come and be a part of this growing ministry.

New Testament’s Awana program for children ages 3 through 12 began Wednesday, Sept. 4. "We look forward to seeing you at New Testament," a spokesman said. "We are located at 1601 Lincoln Street in Lonoke."
