Workers from Tri-State Floors of Chelsea, Okla., put down lettering on the floor of the Gina Cox Center on the campus of Lonoke High School on Friday morning. The stencil for the fighting jackrabbits logo for center court arrived this week. The arena is set to have an open house on Aug. 10 at 3 p.m. The Center is named for Gina Cox Wiertelak, who, along with her husband Jim, pledged $1 million towards the construction of a new mulitpurpose facility. The arena will be used for basketball, volleyball, plays with a portable stage and graduation among many things. The Center also houses the high school cafeteria. (Photo by Mark Buffalo)
