Nine Lonoke Jackrabbits football players earned postseason honors following their team’s 6-5 season.

Brent Sims, Blake Gooden, Eric Williams, D.J. Burton and Blake Mack were all named to the 4A-2 all-conference first team while Drake Chesney, Dra Offord, Jacob Vandiver and Kenny Johnson were named second-team all-conference.

Sims rushed for 165 yards and four touchdowns on 29 carries. He also had 53 tackles.

Gooden completed his only pass attempt for 48 yards. He averaged 31 yards per punt. He caught 11 passes for 81 yards and led the Jackrabbits with 105 tackles.

Williams led the Jackrabbits with 987 yards rushing on 148 carries. He scored 14 touchdowns. He also caught six passes for 90 yards and returned eight kickoffs for 159 yards.

Burton completed 24 of 34 passes for 357 yards and two touchdowns. He rushed for 662 yards on 91 carries, scoring 12 touchdowns and four two-point conversions. He also caught eight passes for 99 yards and one touchdown.

Mack led the Jackrabbits in receiving, catching 34 passes for 756 yards and eight touchdowns. He also rushed for 47 yards and a touchdown.

Chesney, from his center position, helped the Jackrabbits rush for 2,088 yards and pas for 1,402 yards.

Offord rushed for 51 yards and returned four kickoffs for 94 yards. He also had 68 tackles.

Vandiver had 27 tackles, including five for losses.

Johnson had 32 tackles and broke up five passes.
