Monday was a good night for the Lonoke Jackrabbits basketball teams.

All five teams that played Monday night were victorious.

The Jackrabbits and Lady Jackrabbits won their first-round games in the Hot Springs Trojan Invitational while the Junior Lady Rabbits, Junior Rabbits and eighth-grade girls were all winners at Malvern.

Jackrabbits 56, LR Christian 30

The Lonoke Jackrabbits improved to 2-0 with a 56-30 win over Little Rock Christian on Monday at Hot Springs.

Lonoke led 12-6 after one quarter and 23-13 at halftime.

The Jackrabbits started to pull away in the third quarter, outscoring the Warriors 16-6 to lead 39-19.

Blake Mack led the Jackrabbits with 20 points. Jamel Rankin had 13. Zack Risner and Reid McKenzie had six points each. Darian Young had five. Tykel Gray, Dra Offord and Darrius McCall had two points each.

Lady Rabbits 50, Mills 42

The Lonoke Lady Jackrabbits held off Mills for a 50-42 win Monday at Hot Springs.

Lonoke led 20-14 after one quarter and 36-22 at halftime.

Mills outscored Lonoke 20-14 in the second half.

Eboni Willis led the Lady Jackrabbits with 17 points. Amanda Sexton had 11. Kerasha Johnson added 10. Savannah Holman scored nine. Callie Whitfield added two while Jasalyn Truelove hit a free throw.

Jr. Rabbits 43, Malvern 37

Lonoke outscored Malvern 28-23 in the second half to beat the Leopards 43-37.

Lonoke trailed 7-5 after one quarter but led 15-14 at halftime.

Bryson Jackson led Lonoke with 12 points. Jawuan Bryant had nine. Justin Meadows added seven. Lucas McKenzie scored five. Anthony Morris had three. Haven Hunter, Yancy Cooney and Darius Bunch scored two points each. Isaac Toney added a free throw.

Jr. Lady Rabbits 37, Malvern 24

Lonoke picked up the win, beating Malvern 37-24.

Jarrelyn McCall led Lonoke with 14 points. Ashlyn Allen had eight. Annie Whisnant scored seven. Brooke Jackson had six. Makayla Grady added two.

The Lonoke eighth-grade girls won 15-13. Kylie Hobson led Lonoke with six points. Brianna Walker had four. Robyn Walters and Alyx Soderling had two points each. Shakey Gamillon added a free throw.
