The Lonoke SharkRockets had a good meet Saturday at Lakewood, competing with the Sherwood Sharks and Lakewood Waves.

The older group of Lonoke swimmers had a really good day, sweeping through many of the events and picking up the most points for the SharkRockets.

The female SharkRockets had a big day thanks in large part to Mackenzie Bennett and Tristan Bennett. Mackenzie picked up first place points in the breaststroke, butterfly and individual medley, and took second in the freestyle. Tristan won her free, and finished second in the breast, fly and IM.

Bailey Dulaney won her IM race and finished third in the free and back. Colby Hartley finished second in the free and breast.

For teen boys, Jimmy Evans picked up the most points with wins in the back and IM and a second place in the free. Tanner Canamore was right behind with wins in the free and back and a third place in the fly.

Evan Wilson won in the back, took second in the IM and third in the free and fly while Tanner Edwards won his race in the fly and took second in the IM. Casey Long took second in the back and third in the IM.

Rylie Carter (G 11-12) took third in the fly, Kelyn Fagan (B 9-10) finished second in the free and fly, while Spencer McGhee (B 7-8) finished third in the back, breast and IM.

Kenzlee Minton finished third in the back for the 7-8 girls, while Kanon Williams won the back for the 6-under boys.
