The Lonoke High School basketball teams are scheduled to play in tournaments this week.

The Lady Jackrabbits are playing in the Beebe Gilliam Farms-First Security Bank Christmas Classic while the Jackrabbits are scheduled to play in the Wynne Holiday Tournament.

Lonoke girls coach Nathan Morris said the Beebe tournament has been pushed back a day and will start Friday, instead of today because of the snow and ice that fell Tuesday. The finals will be played on Monday.

Lonoke will play Brookland at 1 p.m. and will play the winner or loser of Harding Academy/North Pulaski on Saturday.

Other teams playing in the tournament include Beebe, Arkansas Baptist and Mills.

As of press time Wednesday, Lonoke boys coach Dean Campbell did not know the status of his tournament.

The Jackrabbits were scheduled to play Little Rock Christian tonight at 5:30. The tournament has only six teams with Marianna and Conway playing while host Wynne plays Blytheville.
