Cabot High School Criminal Justice Students recently competed in the 2017 SkillsUSA Arkansas State Championships in Hot Springs. Blayn Lucas won the gold medal in the Criminal Justice Competition. That is the fifth first place in the past six years for a Cabot student.

By winning, Lucas has qualified to compete in the 2017 SkillsUSA National Championships in Louisville, Ky this summer.

The Cabot High School Crime Scene Team, Charlee Bell, Maranda Pouncy and Tanner Hewitt, won the bronze medal.

That is the second bronze medal in the past six years.
