The Monday night meeting of the Cabot City Council was cancelled due to a lack of agenda items, said Eddie Cook with the city.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Council will be Monday, May 15.
In other news, The Cabot Lions Club annual clothing drive challenge to benefit Big Brothers, Big Sisters, and the Open Arms Shelter is this Saturday.
Persons interested in participating should donate their new or gently used clothing, coats, belts and shoes (infants through adult sizes).
Donations can be dropped off at the Cabot Farmers Market in the parking lot of the ReNew Community Church, 1122 S. 2nd St., Cabot.
Items will be picked up by the Lions Club on Saturday, from 8 a.m. to noon.

This Saturday is also the first day of the Cabot Farmers Market. It will continue through Sept. 9.

Also of note, the National Day of Prayer will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, in the courtyard behind City Hall.
