Now that summer is approaching, some Arkansans might be wondering if they can make healthier food choices not only for themselves but for their kids during the fast-approaching summer break.
Kroger is Cabot is hosting program next Wednesday, May 17, to help local residents make better informed decisions on proper food choices.
“Having a hard time finding out what foods are healthy? Trying to figure out how to buy healthy foods on a budget? Come to the Grocery Store Tour,” reads the program’s official release. “Learn how to choose healthy foods while saving money.”
All participants will receive a $10 gift card to shop at Kroger during the day. The grocery store is located at 1295 W. Main St., Cabot. For more information, call 870-347-3461.
The event is being sponsored by AR Care. “The mission of ARcare is ‘Health for All,’ with a focus on customer health, community health, employee health, and organizational health. Our mission is at the core of every activity we pursue,” according to the AR Care release.
