Criswell Robinson American Legion Post 71 Cabot held a ”War On Drugs” contest for Cabot Middle School North and South. There were over 440 students that participated that were awarded $2 bills each. The first place winners were also awarded a special $2, which is the first of its kind.


Each bill featured the state name, bird, flower, nickname, emblem, year of admission, and State Quarter graphic, which featured an actual watermark. The winners were also awarded $30 first place, $20 second place, $15 third place.


Cabot Middle School North winners were McKinley Ables (1st place), Lina Mesa (2nd place), and Gwen Selfridge (3rd place). Art teacher, Susan Hicks.


Cabot Middle School South winners were Emma Cody (1st place), Mason Hawkins (2nd place), Abigail Maack (3rd place). Art teacher Angela Pumphrey
