Today: Teen creative Journaling is at 4 p.m. along with Wii play all day at the Carlisle Public Library

Thursday: There will be an adult painting class at 10 a.m. at the Lonoke library. Teen bingo will also be held at 2 p.m.


Thursday: Adults transform your skin will be at 2 p.m. at the Carlisle Public Library


Thursday: The Lonoke County Quorum Court will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the annex building.


Friday: Adult craft is at 11 a.m. at Carlisle Public Library along with puzzles all day


Friday: Children’s bingo will be held at 10 a.m. at the Lonoke library. There will be a community walk for all ages at 2 p.m. meet at the Lonoke library.


Saturday: The Cabot City Council will meet at 7 p.m. in the Annex building.


Monday: The Lonoke library will be having #MovieMonday held at 10 a.m. will be playing the movie Finding Dory for the children. At 2 p.m. there will be a teen movie played as well!


Monday: Story Time will be at 10:30 a.m., Kids Yoga will be at 1 p.m. and Crazy 8’s for K-2nd Grade is at 4 p.m. at the Carlisle Public Library


Monday: The Lonoke School Board will meet at 6 p.m. in the administration building.


Tuesday: Tweens Coding class is at 2 p.m. and a Teens oil spill science will be at 4 p.m. at the Carlisle Public Library


Tuesday: Bridging the gap for children will be held at 10 a.m. at the Lonoke library. Our Lonoke County Genealogist will be here at the library at 10 a.m. for any questions you may have. Also at 1 p.m. childrens yoga will be held at the Lonoke library.


Tuesday: The Lonoke County Library Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the England Library.


Tuesday: The Carlisle City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the Civic Center.


June 21: There will be story time at the Lonoke library at 10 a.m. At 2 p.m. there will be a teen craft as well at the Lonoke library.

June 29: At the Lonoke library we will have our Summer Reading Bash starting at 10 a.m. NHEMC will be here with live animals and we will have lunch provided by Arvest bank and drawings for our grand prizes!


June 29: End of Summer Reading Program Party at 2 p.m. and NHECM live animal is at 4 p.m. at the Carlisle Public Library

July 8: The Plantation Agriculture Museum invites you and your family to journey back to your pioneering roots during our third annual Homegoods Day. Homemakers and crafters from around Arkansas are here to explain and show their goods. We will offer free homemade ice cream, and more. The Plantation Agriculture Museum will be hosting Homegoods Day on Saturday, July 8 from 10-2 p.m. Come out to join the festivities while enjoying fresh homemade ice cream, demonstrations, and crafts. Supplies are limited. All activities will be held inside the air conditioned main museum. Admission is free. The Plantation Agriculture Museum is just 20 minutes from Little Rock at the junction of U.S. Hwy. 165 and Arkansas Hwy. 161. Take exit 7 off I-440 turn right on U.S. Hwy. 165, go 5 miles to Museum and turn right on Arkansas Hwy. 161 in Scott, Arkansas. The Museum is open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission to the museum exhibits is free for self-guided tours.
