On Thursday, June 29, the Woodlawn Community Center opened their doors at 10:30 a.m. for their weekly community events.

President Cecelia Anderson opened the event by having 23 attendees recite “The Pledge of Allegiance,” and sing “God Bless America.”

Sue Swain gave the invocation, praying for our friend Anita Weathers who is still in St. Vincent Hospital recovering from heart surgery. Mary Thate and Mary Beth Farrester are also on the Woodlawn Community Center’s sick recover list.

After Amazing Grace was sang, Mary and Jerome Gentry, a wonderful and singing evangelist couple, presented a musical and awaking program for all attendees at Woodlawn to enjoy. Their main song was “Let’s enjoy Church.”

Jerome blessed the fellowship dinner.

This Thursday, July 6, Pastor Eddie Brunch and his daughter will present a wonderful religious program.

Come join us every Thursday at the Woodlawn Community Center, 10070 Arkansas Highway 31 north.

Come early for a cup of coffee and bring a dish for pot luck.
