Central Arkansas Development Council will distribute USDA commodities this Wednesday, Nov. 15, in Lonoke County.
The food items to be distributed may include; Cranberry Juice, Raisins, Applesauce, Peaches, Pears, Carrots, diced tomatoes, Whole Corn, Potato Flakes, tomato Soup, Peanut Butter, Rice Crispy Cereal, lima Beans, Rice & Salmon.
Commodities will be distributed at the following locations:
Allport City Hall, 100 N Front St, England
England Community Center, 30 Perry Drive, England,
Carlisle Community Center, 120 East 4th St.,Carlisle
Humnoke Community Building, 50 North 5th St., Humnoke
Woodlawn Senior Center, 10070 AR Hwy 31 N, Lonoke
Cabot Church of Christ, 500 N 2nd St., Cabot
Austin City Hall, 202 Hendricks St., Austin
Ward Chamber of Commerce, 80 W 2nd St., Ward
Lonoke Fairgrounds, 800 w 3rd St., Lonoke
All customers receiving commodities must present identification. To be eligible, income guidelines must be met. Income guidelines for this program are based on 130 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Based on these guidelines, a one-person household must make less than $15,678 per year to qualify for this program. For each additional family member, add $5,488.34.
