They’re going to need a bigger staircase.


Last Friday, Cabot High School gathered its honor graduates together for an annual luncheon.


This time was a little different though. The traditional photo of the honor graduates gathered on the school’s staircase morphed into three photos as the staircase simply wasn’t big enough to handle the 219 expected honor graduates.


That number could ebb and flow before graduation in May, but currently there’s 219 students who have at least a 3.5 grade point average, along with meeting specific course requirements, and be enrolled at Cabot High School for two of the last three semesters beginning with the second semester of eleventh grade.


That’s actually done from last year’s 230 that required two photos, while the previous year saw 190 honor graduates.
