Jordan Slayden, 18, England, earned his Eagle Scout with Troop 101 out of Carlisle.

Slayden is a junior at England High School and his Eagle Court of Honor was held April 6.

He is the son of Bobby and Carla Isbell and the late Jimmy Don Slayden. His Eagle Scout project was building two park benches at Keo City Park.

Slayden has served as Senior Patrol Leader for Troop 101 for the past three years. He is also a member of The Order of the Arrow.

At his Court of Honor, Slayden recognized Ted Richardson and gave him the Honorable Mentor Award. After Jordan’s father past away, Richardson told the family he would drive Jordan back and forth to Carlisle each week for his troop meeting.
