Detectives with the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office announced last week, they are working multiple cases involving counterfeit money. According to a release the bills feel and at first glace appear realistic. Indicators of the counterfeit money include pink oriental-like markings on both sides and small, black dashes on one of the corners. Deputies have recently discovered more of the bills circulating in the Cabot area and recommends everyone using extra caution in transactions. Anyone who has been passed one of the fake bills is asked to contact authorities.
