Wednesday: United Methodist Church will host an AARP Drive Smart Course on Wednesday, June 13. The church is at 2003 S. Pine St., Cabot. The class starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m. The instructors are Debroah Landers and Jerry Yates. The cost of the course is $15 if you are an AARP member, for non-members the cost is $20. Only the peaches and cream variety will be sold at $25 per bag, or $35 per sucked bag. Each bag has approximately 62 ears of corn.


Pickup times will be at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day and shucked bags are in limited quantities.

Oct. 27: Little Rock Air Force Base will have its annual Thunder over the Rock Air and Space Show on Oct. 27 - 28. Air Show performers include the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Jump Team, C130J Demo Team, U.S. Army National Guard Black Hawk and Lakota Helicopter Demo and the U.S. Air Force Academy Wings of Blue Parachute Jump Team.
