Connie Lisenby born Gail Conner Campbell, 81 passed away Jan. 2, 2018. A Tennessee native, Connie spent her adulthood as a dedicated military aviator’s wife, living in many parts of the country and exotic locales with her husband, Lt. Col. Harvey Guy Lisenby, before retiring and settling in Oklahoma City in 1993 to be close to her mother and siblings.

Connie and their children lived with Harvey Guy’s parents, Gladys Tolbert Lisenby and Harvey Miller Lisenby of Carlisle off and on during the early 1970’s while Harvey was serving overseas with the Air Force. She enjoyed painting, crafting, gardening, genealogy and loved being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her but it is with acceptance because she is now dancing in the arms of the love of her life for eternity.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Harvey Guy Lisenby. She is remembered with great love by her sisters Nancy Roberts (Leonard), Marion Carter (Jim), both of Oklahoma and her brother Bob Campbell of Texas, her sisters-in-law Billie Jeanne Dougherty of Arkansas and Evelyn Lisenby of Missouri, her four children Terri Morris and Nancy Upshaw of Texas and Donna Davis and Tom Lisenby of Kansas, nine grandchildren and eight great grands as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

Final arrangements will be handled by OK Cremation and Funeral Home, Oklahoma City. Memorial services will be held in the spring during Connie’s favorite season. Date pending.
