The Cabot Lady Panthers split two 7A-Central games last week as their record now stands at 9-6 overall and 2-1 in league play.

Cabot beat Fort Smith Southside 80-49 on Jan. 9 but lost to Conway 65-49 on Friday night.

In the win over Southside, Cabot jumped out to a 21-11 lead after one quarter, increasing to 39-16 at halftime.

The Lady Mavericks outscored the Lady Panthers 20-18 in the third quarter but Cabot returned the favor in the fourth quarter, outscoring Southside 23-13.

Lesley Roberts led the Lady Panthers with 22 points. Hannah Ogilvie had 20. Emily Belin had six. Scoring four each were Brooklyn Stracener, Chloe Thompson, Kenzie Wagner, Gabby Dodson and Morgan Westbrook. Anna Wilson and Izzy Arnold had three points each. Hannah Chandler added a field goal.

Ogilvie led Cabot with 11 rebounds. Wagner and Arnold both dished out six assists. Arnold also had six steals in the victory.

In the loss to Conway, Cabot trailed 15-8 after one quarter and 32-23 at halftime.

Ogilvie led Cabot with 14 points. Roberts and Belin had 10 points each. Wagner added eight. Dodson scored four. Westbrook had three.
