The Cabot Lady Panthers are now winless in 7A-Central play.
Cabot forfeited wins over Mount St. Mary, Fort Smith Southside and Bryant after it was discovered that Cabot used an ineligible player, according to Cabot assistant athletic director Kelly Spencer.
With the forfeit losses, Cabot’s chances at making the Class 7A state tournament are slim.
The Lady Panthers now have a record of 7-12 overall and 0-7 in league play.
On top of that, Cabot lost two league games last week, falling to Fort Smith Northside and North Little Rock.
The Lady Bears beat the Lady Panthers 57-42 on Jan. 23.
Northside led 15-10 after one quarter and 25-20 at halftime.
The difference in the game was the third quarter when the Northside outscored Cabot 17-10 to lead 42-30 heading into the final eight minutes.
Brooklyn Stracener led Cabot with 18 points. Kenzie Wagner had seven. Hannah Ogilvie and Morgan Westbrook had four points each. Lesley Roberts added three. Chloe Thompson and Gabby Dodson and Emily Belin had two points each.
Against North Little Rock, the Lady Panthers lost 37-11.
Cabot trailed 13-2 after one quarter and 24-4 at halftime.
Cabot did not score in the third quarter then outscored North Little Rock 7-3 in the final eight minutes.
Belin led Cabot with four points. Hannah Chandler had three. Blair Nichols and Thompson had two points each.
Cabot hosts Mount St. Mary on Friday night. The Belles are 1-5 in league play with their lone victory being the forfeit win over Cabot.
