The Cabot Lady Panthers improved to 13-5 on the season with an 11-0 win against Fort Smith Northside last Thursday.

Cabot scored two runs in the top of the first. Riley Walthall tripled and scored on a ground out by Leah Gerald. Aubrey Lee then doubled and scored on a double by Grace Neal.

The Lady Panthers scored twice in the third. Walthall led off with a triple and scored on a triple by Gerald, who scored on a sacrifice fly by Rylie Hamilton.

The Lady Panthers scored three in the fifth. Scoring were, Lee, Neal and Layne Smith.

The Lady Panthers added four runs in the top of the sixth. The big shot was a three-run homer by Neal. Also scoring were Gerald, Hamilton and Ashlyn Spears.

Spears allowed only one hit while striking out four to get the win.

Cabot is now 5-1 in 7A-Central play, which is good enough for second place. They trail Bryant, which is 6-0.
