The Cabot Centennial Bank Senior American Legion baseball team knocked off the Rawlings Prospects 7-3 in six innings on Saturday.

Cabot led 1-0 after one inning. Rawlings scored a run in the top of the second before Cabot scored three times in the bottom of the second to lead 4-1.

Rawlings scored single runs in the third and fourth innings to cut the deficit to 4-3. Cabot responded with three runs in the bottom of the fourth to account for the scoring.

Brian Tillery and Brock Martin each scored two runs for Cabot. Also scoring were Kyler Franks, Jackson Olivi and Blake Buffalo.

Franks led Cabot with three hits and three RBIs. Also getting hits were Olivi, Rail Gilliam, Logan Bell, Tillery and Buffalo.

Olivi and Hunter Price combined to throw a six hitter. Both struck out three Rawlings batters.

Cabot beat Max Impact 10-0 in five innings on Friday.

Cabot scored two runs in both the first and second innings then scored six in the bottom of the fourth.

Mason Griffin and Price combined on a two-hit shutout. Griffin pitched 4 2/3 innings. He struck out seven while allowing only two hits. Price got the final out of the game.

Olive, Gilliam and Martin each scored two runs. Also scoring were Bell, Dillon Thomas, Tillery and Buffalo.

Cabot had 12 hits in the victory. Getting two his each were Gilliam, Thomas, Tillery and Martin. Also getting hits were Bell, Olivi, Tanner Wilson and Buffalo
